1.
Quick View
It
is a speedy online document viewer to help users to save a lot of time
when browsing all the incoming documents in a centralized area. Quick
view browser allows users to view documents quickly and the slide show
function in "What's New" helps users to read documents at ease.
The actual viewing time is hugely reduced from 20 minutes down to 6 minutes
(e.g. for viewing 20 documents.)
Quick view function is consisted of "Quick View All", "Quick
View Unread" & "Quick View Selected".
2. Reminder
This automatic alerts and email reminders can keep everyone on track!
- A reminder module is added to alert users about the project status
(such as "Ahead","Today", "Overdue")
with critical tasks and deadline. Similar to a To-Do-List, it performs
the role of a daily reminder to keep users always update,
eliminating any overdue of tasks to be accumulated without
any advance notice.
- The overdue correspondence will also be reminded in "What's New".
- This reminder function is incorporated in general email platform such
as Microsoft® Outlook® Express. An automatic email
notification is generated to remind users the latest project status whenever
they check email.
Users can now select projects via the newly added project listing mode.
Not only the project can be categorized and listed by project name and location, but the project site location can also be shown on the map.
VHBuild™ provides 2 interfaces for users to select projects in "My Projects" page:
- List Mode:
Project is listed by project name and location in text format.
- Map Mode:
Project site location is shown on a map format. A concise summary of a project would be shown once users click on the designated project site, whereby searching, archiving and indexing of projects in hand can be done at ease with details, enhancing the efficiency of organizing and managing project information.
4. Enhanced Project Summary Page
Project summary page is improved with more detailed information which can be viewed on the same page. In the new project summary page under project info module, conceptual pictures of completed building, project information, latest site photos and web cam broadcasting are shown in one single page.
5. Enhanced RFI (Request For Information)
An alerting message will be generated automatically in " What's New"
& "Reminder" of the recipient when there is any revised
or replied RFI, coupled with more information in the RFI summary with
updated status as well.
6.
Enhanced Webcam
As
an optional service, VHBuild™ offers a webcam installation and access
service via the workplace. Multiple cameras can be viewed in real time,
along with providing remote pan/zoom/tilt control and remote recording
and playback functionality. Furthermore, video image snapshots can be
captured and saved for future reference. In version 2006, we provide customization
on the webcam services.
